Shootout Format.
After the online racing data has been collected and scored, the most suitable drivers will be chosen to attend the start of a real-world shootout. (see pricing table below)

Stage 1. Drivers attend Silverstone and are put through a series of physical and psychological tests at iZone's driver development center.
Stage 2. The best drivers are chosen from each of the iZone sessions for on-track driving assessment at Silverstone.
Stage 3*. Three drivers are tested in the car they will drive in the actual race/season.

*Stage 3 may be incorporated into Stage 2, depending on the championship offered and funds generated by competition entries.

One driver is chosen for the drive/season.

Please look at the pricing table below and chose a competition and category suitable to your experience and funds. N.B. All prices and entry caps are in ratio to the number of shootout places available for each competition.

We suggest you try all the elements of the simulation before you venture on to the tracks, and have practiced on at least to tracks before you enter a competition. A half an hour a day in the weeks lead up to a competition should be enough for anyone to carry out the online shoot out tests and races competently. What V1 are looking for is the definitive all rounder, it doesn't matter if you are a novice or a Pro, our evaluation tools will unearth the talent, even if its not just the outright fastest.

Shootout Science.
V1 use the online phase of the competition to measure and record two fundamental groups of data that describe you as a driver, what you know and what you are like as a person. As one example, our hand-eye co-ordination tests allow us to measure an individual function involved in driving, so when driving starts on the virtual test track, we already have data on specific elements of the equation and understand whether it is more what you know, than what you are, that makes you drive the way you do.

As the evaluation moves from the virtual to real world, the data from the online testing is correlated with the offline measures and on-track results. Final physiological and psychological tests that are problematic to perform online are undertaken and the resut is achieved.

V1's online human measures and real world testing format are designed to evaluate the driver for potential, the focus is never completely on the performance of the person today, but the persons innate character and their ability to develop the skills require to operate at the highest levels of motor sport.
