V1's mission is to provide racing opportunities to its fan base not matter what their social or finical circumstances. Our simulation and pro-am shootout format has been developed to be as fair as possible to all competing, online and on-track.
As the original architects of Sony's GT Academy, and designers of the Racing Steps sim-to-real world shootout format, V1 has now accumulated the data and experience to launch its own simulation. Our unique simulation and website houses as series of human measures that can define and develop elements considered to be the talent attributes.

V1's proprietary simulation is developed by V1 Systems Ltd and Oulton Park-based Brain in a Jar. Our physics and graphics are comparable to all the top PC racing titles, better than most in areas that involve the driver interaction, and a world's first ergonomically and psychometrically. Our simulations technology uses real time accumulative component simulation to provide accurate feedback to the driver, so the task of evaluating and developing talent is improved.

NB: If for any reason the shootout you have entered does not take place, you will be offered an entry in another competition or a full refund. If all the competition places are not filled two weeks before the date of the actual shootout, the funds and entries will be transfered to the next race or test in the actual championships calendar. We will repeat this until there are enough entries to complete the shootout process.
